Solo improvisations on multiple instruments simultaneously.
Kaminaritaki (雷滝) was a free promotional CDr that was only available to owners of both 'last exit' and 'discomfort', the two official releases from the first 'solo era'.
Kaminaritaki has 6 tracks, but three of them, #45, #46 and #47, form the main part of the CD. All three are nearly 20 minutes, leaving just over 10 minutes for the remaining three tracks together.
#45, #46 and #47 were recorded on three consecutive days with identical set-up and with identical effect settings, but with different 'melody instruments'. All three use sousen and radio for the basis, but #45 adds baritone guitar, #46 electric morin khuur, and #47 7-string bass. And of course, different kinds of music previously listened to on these three days differently influenced the recorded sessions. The last music heard before recording #46 may have been Korean court music, for example.
The name, written in kanji as 雷滝, by the way, is the name of a waterfall in Nagano prefecture, Japan. It means 'thunder waterfall'.
